Terms of Sale and Use
The agreement between you and Peptique covering access to this research catalog and every purchase from it. Section 20 contains an arbitration agreement and a class action waiver, with a thirty day opt out.
Version 1.0 · Effective 24 October 2026 · Peptique retains every version of this document and will provide the version that was in force on the date of any order on request.
1. Who we are, and what these words mean
In this agreement Peptique, we, us and our mean [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] trading as Peptique, together with its parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities and their respective owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers and licensors. Every disclaimer, limitation, release, indemnity and dispute provision in this agreement is made for the benefit of each of those persons and entities, and each of them may enforce it as an intended third party beneficiary.
You and your mean the person accepting this agreement and any organisation on whose behalf that person acts. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and this agreement binds you both.
Materials means the synthetic research compounds, reference materials and laboratory reagents offered through this site. Site means this website and every page, image, document and service on it.
2. Accepting this agreement, and the record we keep of it
This is a binding agreement. You accept it by confirming your eligibility at the researcher verification gate, by completing the Research Use Compliance step at checkout, or by placing an order, whichever happens first. If you do not accept it, leave the Site.
The version of this agreement in force when you place an order governs that order. Peptique keeps every version, each with its version number and effective date, and will give you the version that applied to any order of yours on request.
Peptique also records the two research use confirmations you give, at the gate and at checkout. That record holds the date and time, the statements shown to you word for word, the version identifier of those statements, the researcher type and research field you selected, and a reference number. It is attached to your order. Section 5 explains why this matters to both of us, and the Privacy Policy explains how it is handled.
Read section 20 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration, waives a jury trial and class participation, and gives you thirty days to opt out.
3. Research use only
Every Material is supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research. Materials are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices. They are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use. They are not for human or veterinary use, administration, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application or consumption of any kind, and nothing on this Site is a dosing, administration, preparation or treatment instruction.
You are solely responsible for handling, storing, using, recording and disposing of Materials under good laboratory practice, appropriate institutional oversight, and every law that applies where you are. You assume all risk arising from your possession and use of them.
4. Who may buy, and what you are telling us when you do
The catalog is restricted to qualified researchers, laboratories and institutions. You represent and warrant that you are at least twenty one years of age, that you are acquiring Materials as, or on behalf of, a qualified research entity for legitimate in vitro research, and that every statement you made at the gate and at checkout was true when you made it and remains true.
Your confirmations are a material inducement to the sale. We rely on them, and we would not sell to you without them. If any of them was untrue, you are in breach of this agreement and section 17 applies.
We may verify eligibility, and we may refuse, limit, suspend or cancel any order or account at our discretion and without giving a reason. We may ask for proof of research affiliation before releasing an order.
5. No human use, no resale, no diversion
You agree that you will not administer a Material, or allow one to be administered, to a human or an animal, and that you will not acquire a Material for any person who does not meet the eligibility requirements in section 4.
You agree not to resell, repackage, relabel, re-sterilise, compound, dilute for supply, or distribute Materials to the general public or for any human or veterinary purpose, and not to describe, market or present them as approved, safe, effective or suitable for any such purpose.
Diversion of a Material to consumer use is a material breach of this agreement. We may cancel orders, close accounts and refuse future sales on that basis, and section 17 applies to any claim arising from it.
6. What Peptique does not sell, and does not advise on
Peptique does not sell syringes, needles, alcohol swabs, injection kits or any other product whose purpose is to prepare a Material for administration. The only preparation product in the catalog is a sealed laboratory diluent sold as a bench reagent.
Peptique publishes no dosing table, no administration schedule, no reconstitution calculator for personal use and no protocol for use in a person or an animal, and support will not supply one. Requests of that kind will not be answered and may result in an order being cancelled.
Peptique does not publish customer testimonials, outcome claims or before and after imagery, and does not solicit them. Any statement of that kind purporting to come from Peptique is not ours.
Nothing on the Site is medical, clinical, veterinary, pharmaceutical or legal advice. Scientific descriptions, receptor information, published identifiers and literature references describe a reference substance in the public record. They are not claims about a Peptique lot and not a representation of safety, efficacy or suitability for any use.
7. Product identity, lot documentation and Certificates of Analysis
Materials are identified by their compound name, CAS number where one exists, and the lot specific Certificate of Analysis. Peptique uses real chemical names rather than house codes, so that what you are buying is on the record.
The lot matched Certificate of Analysis governs identity and purity for that lot. Peptique does not create, alter or reinterpret analytical data. Where a document on the Site is marked SPECIMEN it is a layout placeholder and not a result; it is not evidence of the identity, purity or composition of anything.
Product images are representative renders. Descriptions, specifications, availability and prices may contain errors and may be corrected at any time, including after an order is placed.
8. Orders, prices and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Your order is an offer to buy. No contract of sale is formed until we accept it by dispatching it, and we may refuse, cancel or limit any order, including after a confirmation email, for any lawful reason.
Payment is handled by our payment provider. No card details reach this Site. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method you give us and that the details are accurate. You are responsible for any tax that applies to your order.
9. Reversed payments and chargebacks
If a payment is returned, reversed, declined after acceptance or charged back, you remain liable for the full amount of the order, together with our reasonable costs of recovery including, where the law allows, legal fees.
We may suspend or close an account, cancel pending and future orders, hold dispatch and revoke any credit connected to a reversed or disputed transaction. Please contact support before raising a chargeback; almost everything is faster to fix directly.
10. Shipping, title and risk
Shipping is governed by the Shipping and Refunds policy, which forms part of this agreement. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the Materials to the carrier.
Delivery estimates are estimates. Neither Peptique nor any carrier guarantees a delivery date.
11. Returns and refunds
Because these are laboratory materials whose chain of custody and storage conditions cannot be verified once they leave us, opened Materials cannot be returned. Unopened, sealed items may be returned within thirty days. Refunds and replacements are otherwise available only as set out in the Shipping and Refunds policy, which forms part of this agreement.
12. Subscriptions
A subscription places a repeat order on the schedule you choose at the point of purchase. Each delivery is charged separately at the price locked when the subscription started, and that price is held for twelve months from that date.
You may skip, pause, reschedule or cancel at any time from your account, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. A change takes effect on the next delivery that has not already entered fulfilment. A subscription carries the same Research Use Only terms as any other order, and your confirmations under section 4 apply to every delivery under it.
13. Offers, codes and promotional terms
Buy one get one free applies to single vials of eligible compounds. Kits and Glow Blend are excluded. The free vial is the same compound and strength as the paid vial and is added in the cart. Free vials ship from the same lot where stock allows, and where it does not we may ship an equivalent lot or contact you.
Volume savings apply to paid vials only. Subscription savings apply to single vials only. Discount codes apply to the qualifying subtotal before shipping and tax, are limited to one code per order unless stated otherwise, and have no cash value.
Free shipping thresholds are calculated on the order subtotal after discounts. Offers may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time; the terms shown at the moment you place an order govern that order.
14. Using the Site
The Site and its content, including text, descriptions, photography, renders, layout, graphics, logos and the Peptique name, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You get a limited, revocable, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the Site to evaluate and buy Materials for research use. Nothing else is granted.
You agree not to scrape, crawl or harvest the Site by automated means; copy or republish its content; reverse engineer or interfere with its operation or security; bypass or attempt to bypass the researcher verification gate or any other access control; submit false information; or use the Site unlawfully.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
THE MATERIALS AND THE SITE ARE PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE, FOR RESEARCH USE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PEPTIQUE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR HUMAN, VETERINARY, CLINICAL, DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC USE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded. Where that is so, this section applies as far as the law allows and no further.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, AND WHATEVER THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE MATERIALS, THE SITE OR THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ORDER THE CLAIM ARISES FROM.
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFIT, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR LOSS OF RESEARCH, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM ANY HUMAN OR VETERINARY ADMINISTRATION, INGESTION, INJECTION OR CONSUMPTION OF A MATERIAL, OR FROM ANY USE OF A MATERIAL OUTSIDE THE RESEARCH USE THIS AGREEMENT PERMITS. YOU EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISK OF ANY SUCH USE.
These limits apply to every person and entity covered by the word we in section 1, are a fundamental part of the bargain between us, and apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Where a jurisdiction does not allow a limit, this section applies as far as the law allows, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Indemnification
You will indemnify, defend and hold harmless every person and entity covered by the word we in section 1 against any claim, demand, action, loss, liability, damage, judgment, settlement, penalty, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to your use, handling, storage, transfer or resale of a Material, any human or veterinary use of a Material, your breach of this agreement, the inaccuracy of any confirmation you gave, or your breach of any law or of a third party's rights.
We will tell you about any claim this section covers. We may take part in or take over its defence and settlement at your expense, and you will cooperate. You will not settle a claim in a way that puts an obligation or an admission on us without our written consent.
18. Time limit for claims
To the fullest extent the law allows, any claim arising out of or relating to the Materials, the Site or this agreement must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
19. Governing law and venue
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict of laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Subject to section 20, the exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts of [COUNTY], [STATE], and you consent to their jurisdiction.
20. Disputes, arbitration and class action waiver
READ THIS SECTION. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
20.1 Talk to us first. Before starting arbitration or any other proceeding, send us a written notice of dispute describing the problem, what you want, and your name, order number and contact details, to the address in section 24. We will do the same. Both of us will try in good faith to resolve it for sixty days after the notice arrives. Neither of us may start arbitration before that period ends. Any limitation period is paused while it runs.
20.2 Arbitration. If that does not resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Materials, the Site or this agreement, including how it was formed, what it means, and whether it was breached, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, and may be conducted on documents, by telephone or by video where those rules allow. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
20.3 Who decides what. The arbitrator decides all threshold questions, including the scope, applicability, enforceability and formation of this arbitration agreement, except that a court decides any challenge to the class action waiver in 20.5.
20.4 JURY TRIAL WAIVER. YOU AND WE EACH GIVE UP THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
20.5 CLASS ACTION WAIVER. YOU AND WE EACH AGREE TO BRING CLAIMS ONLY INDIVIDUALLY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
If 20.5 is held unenforceable as to a claim, then 20.2 is void as to that claim only, which proceeds instead in the courts named in section 19, and the rest of this section survives.
20.6 Small claims. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, in the county named in section 19 or where you live, as long as it stays individual.
20.7 Injunctions. Either of us may ask the courts named in section 19 for injunctive or other equitable relief to protect intellectual property, to enforce the researcher verification and no diversion provisions of this agreement, or to prevent imminent harm, without giving up the right to arbitrate anything else.
20.8 Opting out. You may opt out of this section by writing to us within thirty days of first accepting this agreement, at the address or email in section 24, stating your name, address, order number if any, and that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out affects only this section. It will not affect your account or any order, and we will not treat you differently for doing it.
20.9 Survival. This section survives the end of this agreement and the closure of your account.
21. Changes to this agreement
We may update this agreement. A change applies going forward only. It takes effect on the effective date of the new version and governs orders placed on or after that date. It does not apply to an order already placed or to a dispute that arose before it took effect. We keep every prior version and will provide one on request.
Where a change alters the research use statements you confirm, the notice version changes with it and you will be asked to confirm again before your next order. A confirmation you gave against older wording is not treated as a confirmation of the new wording.
22. General
22.1 Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be narrowed to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, or if that is not possible, severed, and the rest continues in force. Section 20.5 is governed by the rule in that section instead.
22.2 Entire agreement. This agreement, together with the Research Use Only policy, the Shipping and Refunds policy and the Privacy Policy, is the whole agreement between us on its subject, and replaces every earlier understanding, representation and communication. No statement outside these documents forms part of it.
22.3 No waiver. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it or of any other. A waiver is effective only in writing, signed by us.
22.4 Assignment. You may not assign this agreement without our written consent, and any attempt is void. We may assign it freely, including on a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets.
22.5 Force majeure. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, labour action, carrier or supplier failure, utility or network outage, cyberattack, or government action.
22.6 Notices. We may give you notice by email to the address on your order or account, or by posting on the Site. Notice to us goes to the address in section 24, except a notice of dispute or an arbitration opt out, which follows section 20.
22.7 Export. You confirm you are not located in, and will not export or re-export Materials to, any country or person under U.S. embargo, sanction or export restriction, and that you will comply with all export control law.
22.8 Survival. Sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 22 survive the end of this agreement.
22.9 Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not affect meaning.
23. Notice to California residents
